Job Title: Part-Time Box Truck Driver / Mover (Sunday Only)
Location: Hanover, MD → Laurel, MD
Pay: $20.25/hour
Schedule: Sundays, starting at 4:30 AM
Description:
We are seeking a reliable and punctual Box Truck Driver/Mover to assist with weekly Sunday morning moves for New Life Ministry. The role involves transporting sound equipment from a storage facility in Laurel to a nearby community center where church services are held—and returning the equipment to storage after service concludes.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up a box truck in Hanover at 4:30 AM every Sunday
Drive to Laurel and load sound equipment from storage
Deliver and unload equipment at the community center by 6:30 AM
Return to the site at 1:00 PM to pack and return equipment to storage
Handle equipment with care and maintain packing quality
Communicate effectively with ministry staff and follow basic setup guidance if needed
Requirements:
Must be dependable and able to work early mornings on Sundays
Valid driver’s license and experience operating a box truck preferred
Good attention to detail and packing skills
Willingness to learn and follow routine procedures
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
