Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Research Associate I

Pay: $50K-60K DOE ( not including bonuses!)

Schedule: M-F normal business hours

Essential functions
  • Participate in tissue based (IHC) projects through assay development, validation, and execution in a timely manner.
  • Perform assays using Ficoll process according to SOPs.
  • Familiar with IF /IHC / tissue staining.
  • Set up instrumentation and run calibration & samples.
  • Run quality control samples; Run clinical samples and generate data.
  • Maintain a stock of all needed reagents and consumables.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly instrument maintenance and trouble-shooting as required.
  • You will work with scientists to carry out qualification of assay for new project.
  • You will need to work with QA to perform good documentation, and to ensure the lab operating under CLIA, GLP and GCP standard.
  • You will assist lab manager in training new personnel on project related assay, daily lab work and SOP procedure.
  • You may need to complete freezer transfers, generate reports document the transfer, and coordinate with QC and entry of new locations into the BSI.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master's OR Bachelors Degree (Histo-technology, Life Sciences, Biology, or other related discipline).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of tissue staining experience.
