Job Title: Commercial Roofer Foreman
Job Description

As a Commercial Roofer Foreman, you will lead and supervise roofing crews, ensuring efficient and high-quality project execution. You will oversee the installation and repair of commercial roofing systems, enforcing safety protocols while coordinating material and equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of roofing crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and quality.
• Oversee the installation and repair of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings, ensuring all crew members use proper PPE and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate delivery and usage of materials and tools, maintaining inventory and ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Inspect work throughout the project to ensure high standards and code compliance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Serve as the primary contact between field crews and project management, providing daily updates on progress and challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of crew hours, material usage, and job site activities, assisting with project closeout and punch list completion.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial roofing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction, general labor, carpentry, and sheet metal.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
