This role supports students, faculty, and staff by coordinating programs, promoting events, and cultivating a welcoming environment where creativity and innovation thrive. Community Engagement Coordinators are key to building awareness of the Institute’s initiatives and ensuring the Idea Lab is an active, inviting hub on campus. Community Engagement Coordinator responsibilities include: Coordinating and staffing Idea Lab events, including the Innovator’s Supper Club (speaker logistics, catering orders, setup/cleanup) Hosting regular tabling sessions to promote the Institute’s programs and engage new students Managing social media content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms to highlight Idea Lab activities and opportunities Creating Canva slides and other marketing materials to promote Institute programs, events, and initiatives Maintaining the Idea Lab as a welcoming, student-centered environment Supporting outreach efforts with creative ideas to expand the Lab’s presence across campus Assisting with general upkeep of the Idea Lab and patio to ensure the space is well-maintained Requirements: We’re especially interested in students with skills in the following: Canva Social Media (Instagram, TikTok & LinkedIn) Management Project Management A sense of humor Additional Information The Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an innovative driver of scholastic, educational, and professional development opportunities in the related areas of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the Villanova community.
