Senior Fire Alarm Design Engineer
Austin, TX (Office based - site travel expected)
Hourly pay - $35+
Vehicle allowance and Gas Card BOE

A leading Fire and Life Safety integrator in the Austin region continues to grow! There is an unique opportunity for a Fire Alarm Designer to serve as a vital resource in their next phase of growth. This role will be crucial in the estimation, proposal, and design phase of some of the largest projects in the area.

• Design of fire alarm systems in accordance with all applicable governing Codes and Standards
• Design systems used: AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam, FireCAD, or other related applications.
• Create fire protection system design and layout plans, schematics, equipment specifications, supporting design calculations, system narratives, and construction specifications.
• Attendance and participation in project meetings for the purposes of providing progress oversight, coordinating prioritization of work as it relates to other areas of construction, and providing recommendations for resolution of issues encountered by construction trades during implementation of life safety system designs.
• Participation in Site visits and project kick off.
