The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to conduct pre-disposition investigations and prepare reports; collect court-ordered payments; monitor and enforce conditions of probation and/or court order; provide access to social services to assist in rehabilitation of law offenders; and/or makes recommendations for alternate dispute resolution, adjudication, rehabilitation planning and treatment of offenders, including conditional release, substance abuse treatment, and education and employment stipulations.

Salary range is $46,785.80 - $79,272.75 per year. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will be at the minimum of the salary range.

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE:  Two (2) years of paraprofessional experience in casework involving the collection of facts, securing and verifying socioeconomic data, obtaining information by observing conditions, examining records, interviewing individuals, and/or preparing investigative reports of findings.

NOTE: Applicants may substitute semester hour credits from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience. If education is used to meet requirement, please upload a copy of your transcript with your application. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility.

LICENSE:   Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
