STEPS for Kids is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive pediatric therapy services that includes a foundation in mental health and well-being for the children and families we serve. Varied caseload with children ranging from infancy through adolescence with neurodevelopmental and behavioral health disorders. Position requires collaboration with OTs, SLPs, and PTs in our neurodiversity affirming and empowering practice with primary focus on direct clinical work with children, parents and families. Opportunity to grow this position to include intake/case management, program development, and community networking. Experience working with a neurodiverse population is preferred, as well as prior experience with play-based therapy and integrating caregivers in the therapeutic process. Currently a part-time position, there is opportunity for growth into a full-time position for the right candidate who is highly motivated to support our mission.
Since 2010, STEPS for Kids has been providing quality therapy services for children and their families in Kendall County and the surrounding area. Owned and operated by an Occupational Therapist with 35 years of experience, our team of dedicated and experienced pediatric therapists brings great passion to their practice, emphasizing the strengths of each child and family in order to support areas of need. We are currently experiencing a growth in demand for our services and seeking qualified candidates to join our experienced team.
