P&R Paper, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor has a job open. Our Stockton location is looking for a Delivery Driver . We are looking for a motivated person who is looking to grow with a great company that is hiring to keep up with a continually expanding client base. Responsible for operating a company service truck on a schedule over a designated route and ensure safety and timely delivery of goods. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves more than 80,000 customers through a footprint of 100+ branches. **All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address.** Responsibilities You will: Safely transport goods to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner Load and unload goods at customer locations Check in goods at customer locations Maintain accurate and organized paperwork Inspect vehicles for mechanical/safety issues Maintain all required documentation i.e. logbooks, DOT reports, etc… Comply with all company policies and procedures Keep truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order Communicate with office personnel by means of wireless devices Follow all appropriate traffic laws Report any accidents/mechanical issues to fleet manager Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications You have: Minimum 1-year driving experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver License (Class C). Customer Service experience Clean DMV record Detail oriented Basic math skills Fluency in English Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment Ability to work overtime Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 5 am-1:30 pm We offer an exciting environment to work, learn, and grow professionally.
