Specialized Services Group, a commercial construction, painting and restoration General Contractor, is seeking an OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to join our team!

This position plays a vital role in supporting the operations of the organization by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Basic functions include managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing files, maintaining record-keeping systems, and performing data entry. This position will act as a point of contact for internal and external employees, assist in project coordination, and prepare reports and presentations.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY / DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Draft, edit and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars for Field Operations.
• In-house field schedule
• Stay current on OSHA construction industry standards
• Continued input to refine and improve processes
• Managing time entry for field employees
• Manage GPS program
• Manage Certifications
• Manage evaluation process
• PPE assignment and maintenance program
• Badge submission and tracking
• Field employee new hire orientation
• Identify and resolve routine operational issues, and escalate complex issues

 

EXPERIENCE

• Required: Minimum of three years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.
• Preferred: Five years construction or related experience.
• Ability to communicate using the following tools: smartphone, email, computer, tablet, written logs
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be drug free
