Consolidated Human Resources is in need of a Payroll Specialist to assist in the weekly payroll processing and client services. Do you have a passion for servicing your clients and enjoy delivering perfect payrolls? This is your chance to make an impact!

Payroll Specialist Job Duties:

• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports for multi-state clients
• Understand proper taxation of benefits.
• Basic understanding of garnishment calculations and compliance.
• Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary, Bonuses, etc.
• Process manual checks as needed.
• Microsoft office suite knowledge
• Research issues and work with departments within the company to resolve any issues
• Respond to employees/client contacts inquiries and manage your email inbox.
• Special Projects as needed

Payroll Specialist Skills/Qualifications:

• 6+ months of payroll experience
• PrismHR Experience is preferred
• FPC/CPP or willing to become Certified is preferred
• Degree is preferred, but not required
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a PLUS
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Solid critical thinking and attention to detail
• Superb communications skills required
• Intermediate spreadsheet knowledge a plus

Schedule:

• 8:30 – 5pm EST
• Monday to Friday
• Hybrid - Park Ridge, NJ or Virtual Positions available
