We are currently seeking ​a self-motivated, detail oriented organized Quickbooks Bookkeeper to join the team! Our client is a dynamic restaurant group offering a unique blend of dining and entertainment experiences. You will be responsible for full cycle accounting for three locations. Initially this is a part - time role (20 to 40 hours per week) that could expand in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Quickbooks for various accounting functions, including data entry and report generation
• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
• Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain organized filing systems of all digital documents
• Provide payroll support as needed 
• Follow period end process to complete financial statements on a timely basis
• File basic GST returns and payroll withholding returns on a quarterly or monthly basis as required. 

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding/experience with Quickbooks is a must
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Basic knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Experience or knowledge of restaurant industry is a plus
• English is essential to the job duties
