Job Description

A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available at an elementary school in Long Beach, CA, for the current school year contract. This position requires on-site presence and involves providing specialized support to students within a school setting. The role begins and continues through the end of the school year, covering a leave of absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and implement effective intervention plans.
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
• Support students' functional abilities to enhance their participation in classroom activities.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in a school setting.
• Ability to work full-time, approximately 37.5-40 hours per week, on-site.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and educational intervention.
