Job Description

Providing Occupational Therapy services within a K-12 school setting in the Riverview, FL area, this full-time contract position supports students across multiple elementary schools. The role begins in early August and continues through late May, aligning with the academic calendar. Therapists will engage with students requiring occupational therapy, delivering services that enhance their educational experience and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Collaborate with school staff to develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 therapy hours per month, with additional time dedicated to documentation and workload responsibilities
• Coordinate travel between assigned school sites, primarily Dawson Elementary and Riverview Elementary, with the possibility of additional site assignments
• Arrange and maintain a flexible schedule in alignment with student needs and school hours

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Florida Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work independently across multiple sites
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
