As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a prestigious hotel and resort location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible throughout your shift, providing a reassuring presence for guests and staff while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position requires you to meet Allied Universal's driver policy requirements, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel or resort location.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for guests, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding guests and staff during incidents.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Collaborate with hotel or resort management and other staff to address security-related needs and provide a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
