Senior Advertising & Content Manager to join our team in Boone, N.C. You can be helping the ministry in the critical areas of advertising and content management every day! As a Senior Advertising & Content Manager, you will lead all aspects of search engine marketing, media buying, video content marketing and distribution. Also, this position effectively manages advertising budgets and supervises a team and their campaigns to maximize return on investment (ROI), drive website traffic, increase reach, and generate new donors. A day in the life of a Senior Advertising & Content Manager: At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.
In the role of
Senior Advertising & Content Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Lead and supervises the Media Buying and SEM team responsible for planning and implementing marketing and advertising efforts that generate a considerable number of donations and new names.
- Lead and supervises the Content Manager and their efforts to grow the ministry's reach through video marketing streams, including the management of multiple YouTube channels and the dedicated VOD website, SPTV.org.
- Steward and oversee multimillion-dollar spending budgets.
- Manage campaign expenses, stays on budget, and estimates monthly and annual costs.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Broadcast and other department leadership to build campaign strategies that align with organizational and departmental priorities and execute the plans.
- Manage the tracking, reporting, and analysis of website analytics for SEM and media buying initiatives and campaigns.
- Lead staff responsible for executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Oversee optimization of landing pages for advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Stay current with SEM and trends and changes, employing regular online research and attending periodic training seminars. Constantly explores new platforms for advertising.
- Collaborate with other teams on content, design, and strategy to develop and implement effective campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in related field and 10 or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Thorough knowledge of computer applications, including Tableau, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comprehensive knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics
- Strong ability to lead a team with clear vision and accountability
- Strong ability to drive thought leadership and growth through SEM and media buying effort
- Strong ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity and suggest reasonable solutions.
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred; if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.
