Senior Tax Associate, Private Equity/Venture Capital

Role: Tax Associate or Senior Associate (DOE)

Responsibilities

• Prepare income allocations for funds and GP entities, including federal, state, local, and foreign tax estimates and carried interest calculations.
• Review tax returns, Schedules K1, and K3.
• Enter journal entries and generate reports in Accounting system; analyze data for allocations, FATCA/CRS, and withholding reporting.
• Support quarterly closings, including tax withholding, Israeli exits, reportable transactions, installment sales, and writeoffs.
• Communicate with investors, respond to information requests, and maintain investor portal documents.
• Maintain investor records, including address, tax form, and FATCA/CRS updates.
• Document procedures, draft memos, take meeting notes, and track open items.
• Assist with ad hoc projects, including process improvement, control enhancements, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

- 1 to 6 years of Tax experience within Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Fund or other financial services industries.
