Sports Medicine position (Family Medicine) in Northwest Pennsylvania!!
Newly created Sports Medicine Position NW Pennsylvania to join expanding Orthopedic group with sought after Sports Medicine clinicians. Will be busy from day one!
Ideal physician will be a Family Medicine trained physician with a Sports Medicine Fellowship or other relevant specialty with Sports Medicine experience. Physician will have a strong outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and is comfortable working independently in the community.
Currently working with local and regional high schools and colleges with a team of experienced physical therapists and athletic trainers. Office will soon be relocated to a newly constructed Wellness Extension housing sports medicine clinics, physical therapists, radiology and ultrasound onsite.
This physician will also be responsible to care for patients with non-operable orthopedic problems such as shoulder pain, mature athlete issues, etc.
Compensation package includes:
Base Salary + incentive bonus

City is located within 40 miles of Erie, PA and within 90 miles of Cleveland, Buffalo and Pittsburgh and is close to six lakes for fishing and water sports as well as several state parks and woodlands that offer year-round recreation. Downhill and cross country skiing are close by in the winter and numerous golf courses take advantage of the rolling hills and stunning landscapes of our four seasons. Often said to be a great place to raise a family with beautiful and inviting neighborhoods with excellent public and private schools.
