Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Pathology Assistant for a travel job in Seattle, Washington.
Job Description & Requirements(will they have contact w/ patients?) No contact with patients. No MLT or MT certification needed. Yes they will need to be an ASCP registered PA. What areas do they cover? (Hematology/Serology, Chemistry/Coag, Micro, & Blood Bank) Surgical Pathology only. Do they need to be a Generalist? No. Do they need to perform Phlebotomy? No. Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties PA Grossing of complex specimens. The focus of this individual will primarily be on the higher complexity specimens: colon cancers, breast cancers, whipples, etc. It will likely not be the lower complexity specimens like gallbladder, appendix, uterus, etc. LIS System (ie. Polytech, Avalon, Orchard Software, Apollo, Prolis, BioTracer, etc.) CoPath EMR/Specific Equipment used in each area? Cerner
